Clean up will take a long time. I was in Schoharie over the weekend for Make a Difference Day. They still need a lot of help too cleaning up after the last hurricane. You can donate your time or funds here.
Here is the Church we were at. The water was about as high as my hand

This is Evenlyn. She took me on a tour of the Church and the parsonage where they feed the volunteers. The water was up to her hand in this photo.

My hands were a bit shaky but this is inside the church. It like many homes still need a lot of repair. That is where a beautiful old organ used to be. You can still see outside through a hole in the roof.

Again not a good picture, but from the water level down is still ripped out around then entire inside of the church and many houses.
