Lana Del Rey is going after Lady Gaga in a recently released song that is making its way around the internet. Many thought the two singers, both New York natives, were close friends until now!
Titled "So Legit," the track finds Del Rey referring to Gaga by her real name, Stefani Germanotta. "Steafani, you suck... I know you're selling 20 million," Del Rey, 27, sings. "Wish they could have seen you when we booed you off in Williamsburg."
In another section where she appears to be addressing Gaga, Lana sings that she had once called her "the queen of the downtown scene" and asked how she could "go switch it up and then replace me." Lana goes on to sing that she knows her "words don't hurt," but later brings up the star's name again asking, "have we all gone Gaga crazy?"
Gaga's scores of "Little Monsters" were quick to rush Del Rey's Twitter and Facebook pages with nasty comments, vowing their allegiance to the more popular singer.
It's still unclear if "So Legit" will be on Lana's upcoming follow up to "Born To Die" which is expected out sometime this year. Check out the track below and let me know what you think...
