A Third Sonic Restaurant is heading for the Capital Region. Do you guys remember when the Sonic in Latham opened a few years ago? It was completely bonkers! There was a traffic cop with traffic cones for at least week, maybe 2!! That's just crazy to me. I mean, with most new things...it'll be there for a little while...you don't have to go the first day! Or the second, or the second week!! I can remember when the Aquarium opened in Rotterdam Square. We were there with the station for opening day, and the line stretched ALL THE WAY to the OTHER SIDE OF THE MALL! People stood in line for hours! If they waited just 2 days, NO WAIT!! That's kinda crazy, but yet, I would wait two hours for a roller coaster. Priorities I guess. So anyway, the new Sonic will be located at 351 Southern Boulevard in Albany which is near Exit 23 of the Thruway. I'm personally proud to say I've never eaten at Sonic, although I've been tempted!! (Oh wait! I lie - I forgot I tasted that horrible Pickle Slushie they had - GROSS!) Considering how crazy the Latham opening was, maybe secure your spot in line today!
