An arrest is made at the State Fair and it's a man from our area that's facing charges.

34-year-old James Hines II, of Troy, is charged with using counterfeit money at the State Fair.

State Troopers say that Hines was passing counterfeit 20 dollar bills to vendors at the fair. The vendors then alerted police that Hines was using the 'funny money.'

Hines also faces charges of possessing synthetic marijuana.
